Certified Safety Training Centre has been providing Forklift, Aerial Lift Platform, Fall Protection, TDG, WHMIS, and Standard First Aid & Supervisor Due Diligence amongst many more training programs to the Construction, Industrial & Commercial Sectors. Our wide variety of training programs, 38 training courses in total, certify individuals in a variety of professional development and certification programs.

Job Description & Role:
The Trainer/Sales Representative is a professional member of our training and development team. The incumbent is primarily responsible for training, sales and administrative duties ranging from general office tasks and class preparation. There may be times, though not often, however when called upon; particularly when working abroad, that you may have to stay away from home. Sales are an important part to the success of the role. Training is based on one’s training sales. The day’s you are not training, you are selling programs to create future training business for one’s self. If you do not sell, you do not train. Strong Sales background with industry connections is highly recommended for one’s success in the role.

Requirements:
· Must have full knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act & Regulations for Construction Projects
· Must have full knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act & Regulations for Industrial Projects
· Minimum of 5 years of practical Construction and or, Industrial experience as a Tradesperson and or, Supervisor; Engineer/Technician/Health & Safety Representative
· Experience in teaching accredited qualifications and recognized Training qualifications would be an asset.
· Previous experience of course design and development would be an asset
· Must be able to work occasional mornings, afternoons, weeknights & Saturdays (scheduled will be worked out accordingly)
· Ability to work independently and under direct Supervision
· Ability to apply problem solving skills and perform critical thinking
· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
· Office experience would an asset

·Must have Certification in a few or, several of the following training programs and or, must have acquired Train the Trainer in several of the following training programs to instruct; work experience, Health & Safety knowledge and practical knowledge in these areas, would be a heavily sought out asset. WSIB Work Well Audits and Health & Safety written Policy preferred.
