Blueprint Reading for Construction
The reading of construction blueprints is a foundational skill in construction. All construction professionals, regardless of whether they are working in the field or in the office, must know how to read blueprints. The course will focus on reading and interpreting all types of construction drawings. This course will offer a complete overview of construction drawing basics for every aspect of the construction process- from site work, foundations, and structural systems to interior work and finishes.

Estimating for Residential Construction Level 1
This course is an introduction to the measurement of construction work; with a brief review of the readings of construction drawings and specifications. Specific study to methods of measurements applicable to site work, excavation, concrete and masonry quantity take-offs will be reviewed. By the end of the program, the operator will be able to estimate residential projects; including quantity takeoff and pricing.

Estimating for Residential Construction Level 2
This course focuses on the function and role of the Estimator in the construction industry. Advance studies on quantity take-off of excavations, foundations, site services, residential concrete, form work, framing and finish carpentry will be examined. This course will also focus heavily on interior and exterior finishes. By the end of the program, the operator will be able to finalize a complete estimate of a commercial project including quantity takeoff and pricing.
