Skid Steer
The Skid Steer safety training program provides operators with a general understanding of the safe and efficient operations of Skid Steer loaders. Operators will be able to identify specific health and safety hazards associated with operating a Skid Steer and conduct a thorough pre-shift inspection. The training is both theory & practical hands-on demonstration testing of the equipment.

- Review attachments available for Skid Steer and highlight differences.

- Operator understanding of the hydrostatic transmission, and that the loader will react the moment the steering levers are moved.

- Center of Gravity of the Load & Center of Gravity of Skid Steers.
- Capacity of Skid Steers, capacity plates (reading & understanding.)
- Specific hazards & controls when driving a Skid Steer.
- How to respond to an emergency situation involving a Skid Steer.
- Safe entry & exit.
- Practical Testing & Theory Testing.
