What's good with this scaffold setup?.....absolutely NOTHING!

This week's Absoulte Shocker is yet another in the long and disturbing line of "Where renderers go wrong".

The workplace inspector snapped these guys working on the first floor of this residential home without any form of fall protection. He called them down for a chat about the risks of falling from that height.

Prior to leaving the site, the inspector issued a prohibition notice meaning they could not start the works again until an appropriate safe systems of work was in place. In this case, either scaffold or proper edge protection was suggested.

Not a moment too soon.
